We're Re-organizing the Club!After many years of activity, several of our hardworking Houston Go Club officers moved away, and the club has become inactive over the last couple of years. Recently, a meeting was held to discuss reviving the club, and work is underway to restart meeting and tournament activity.The go club needs to hear from those of you who are interested in meeting for game play or tournaments, so please send us an email, or "Like" our new Houston Go Club Facebook Page. (Volunteers are also needed, if you have a little spare time to help out.) After many happy years at St. Catherine's Montessori school, we must find a new home for our central playing location. St. Catherine's staff have always been very supportive of our programs and helped us hold many tournaments in years past. So what do we need in a new location, you might ask? It would be perfect to find a place that's easy to get to, with ample parking, good lighting, somewhere to keep go sets and of course, some tables and chairs for games and players. Some other things that might help is the availability of snacks and a coffee bar. If you have any ideas please contact us.
